Downtown Fresno Partnership

The Downtown Fresno Partnership engages Ideaworks' participation in fun, community-oriented opportunities to share maker culture. From Santa's Workshop, to Fulton Street Parties, to Parklets and more, we love being part of downtown life. Learn more about everything the DFP does for our community here.

Fresno County Public Library

Fresno County Library together with Ideaworks rolls out Family FAB Lab, Summer Reading Kickoff parties, and other STEAM events, bringing hands-on activities to nine library branches (Selma, Sunnyside, Reedley, Fig Garden, West Fresno, Woodward, Clovis, Central-Main). Additionally, the staff of the San Joaquin Valley Heritage Center went out of their way to help research the history of our building at 1730 H Street.  Find out more about your FCPL!

Fresno Grizzlies

Ideaworks hosted the first-ever official Mini-Maker Faire, in collaboration with a professional sports team in 2014 when we partnered with the MiLB Fresno Grizzlies baseball team at Chuckchansi Park in downtown Fresno. Kepler Neighborhood School

Ideaworks joined with Kepler Neighborhood School to bring middle-grade students into the workshops for industrial arts electives, giving them unique learning opportunities. Here is the link to more information about your Kepler Renegades!

Miguel Hidalgo Elementary School & Cypress Systems Inc.

Ideaworks partnered with local biotechnology company, Cypress Systems, Inc. to bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) educational kits to Miguel Hidalgo Elementary's after school holiday program. So much fun!!!

Pi Shop & Root Access Hackerspace, &

Fresno-Madera Medical Society

In the spring of 2020, Ideaworks joined the ranks of makerspaces all over the country, manufacturing PPE for healthcare professionals and other essential workers. Collaborating with two other makerspaces in Fresno - Root Access Hackerspace and Pi Shop Product Incubator - we designed, manufactured, and delivered more than 5000 low or no-cost pieces of PPE by the first week of May to everyone from hospital nurses to bus drivers, and from mail carriers to food service workers.
