There are fibers - from animals, plants and synthetics - that can be processed and joined by twisting into a cohesive strand of string or yarn. The universal process of adding twist into loose fibers is called spinning, and all the ropes, yarns and cables you know are spun.
On Wednesday nights with spindles, spinning wheels and other tools, we share our knowledge about different fibers and fiber processing, and offer you the experience of fiber processing and spinning.
Knitters and crocheters -the creative users of the end product of this fiber processing, - are welcome to join us to expand and share their skills.Come in, see what we have to offer. You might develop a fascination for yet another set of makers' skills!
